Web of Evil is the 3rd episode of the Shinzo anime.
Summary[]
A pair of Spider-Enterrans plan to kidnap Yakumo in believing a legend that eating a human will make the eater immortal.
Blue and his brother trick several Enterrans into acting as a distraction. Keeping Mushra, Sago and Kutal away from Yakumo. Yakumo, who is feeling ill, rests in a hotel. Mushra was supposed to watch over her, but he got hungry and left to join Sago and Kutal. The Enterrans Big Blue and his brother hired managed to keep Mushra and the others busy long enough for them to take Yakumo.
Eventually, Mushra and the others are able to track the brothers to their lair. Still confident, the brothers threat of dropping Yakumo into the "Web of Destruction" angers Sago and Kutal. Leading them to Hyper-Forming into their Hyper-Enterran Forms even before Mushra can.
The brothers are soon soundly defeated. They beg to be spared. Yakumo, Sago and Kutal agree to let them go, though Mushra is reluctant. When they were all distracted, Big Blue's older brother betrays him. Killing him to take the power of his brothers Encard. Despite the boost in power, Mushra easily kills the backstabber. He then slash's both brothers cards in half, killing the pair permanently.
Shocked to learn from Sago this means the brothers are now permanently dead. Yakumo lashes out at Mushra. Telling Sago and Kutal that she wont allow Mushra to travel with them any longer. Mushra is left devestated.

Trivia[]
- While it was already known that Encards (Cards of Enterrans that have died/been killed) can increase the power of the Enterran who absorbs it. It's revealed here that the Enterran within the card can still alive as long as the card remains intact. Mushra destroys the two spider Encards in this episode, thus killing both Enterrans permanently.
- Big Blue's and his brothers motive in eating Yakumo was to becoming immortal. Whether their plan would have actually succeeded is left unanswered.
