Gyasa

Serpent prince Gyasa is a powerful reptile type Enterran who Mushra and crew encounter on their journey.

Story[]

Gyasa first made his presence known to the group by using a venomous bite from his snake like hair to turn Yakumo into stone and plunges her into an acid lake, giving her Enterran protectors only a limited time to save her from dissolving.

Gyasa starts off being outmatched by the three, but this soon changes as he grows stronger during the fight. He turns Kutal and Sago into Encards but before he can do so to Mushra, the fire Enterran uses his friends' cards to become Mushrambo.

Knowing he would be beaten as he is weaker, Gyasa calls on dozens if not hundreds of snake enterrans to merge with him, transforming into his hyper form. Though powerful, his new abilities are no match for Earth's greatest champion and he is soundly defeated. He was more powerful than some kings of Enterra, he was ruthless, cruel and cold.

Powers[]

Despite not being a part of the Seven General, Gyasa is easily one of the most powerful characters in the series. Over the course of his time on screen, he not only managed to easily overpower Mushra, Sago and Kutal, all in their hyper forms, but also is one of the only characters to nearly defeat Mushrambo in battle.

His strength is mainly due to his numerous and diverse abilities.

Reanimation (Shedding Skin): Gyasa is able to shed his skin every time he suffers a serious injury. This ability not only allows him to survive the attack but also grow substantially in power.

Venom Steel: Gyasa is able to produce what he refers to as "venom steel" from his body, which can either be metal projectiles or actual swords he forms him his hands.

Venom Blasts: By transforming his hair into snakes, Gyasa is able to fire various energy attacks, ranging from short blasts, streams of energy or even a massive explosive blast.

Stone Venom: Gyasa's snakes are also capable of producing a type of venom that turns it's victims into stone. The petrification seemingly cannot be reverse unless Gyasa is killed, though a powerful enough fighter can break free from the stone.

Hyper Mode: After absorbing the cards of numerous snake eterans, Gyasa is able to enter his Hyper Mode which greatly improves his powers and abilities, enabling him to fight on even ground with Mushrambo.

  • Overwhelming Strength: In his hyper state, Gyasa's strength skyrockets to where his punches can produce powerful shockwaves, capable of tearing the earth apart and sending Mushrambo flying.
  • Hyper Venom: A greatly enhanced version of his Venom Blasts, where he transforms his arms into massive snakes that can fire greatly enhanced blasts. These blasts are so powerful that Mushrambo was still sent flying despite managing to block them.
  • Venom Cannon: An improved version of his Venom Blasts, where he combines his arms to form a cannon that can fire blasts powerful enough to create massive craters.
  • Spinning Snake Disk: Gyasa gains a pair of scale like wings which he can use to role himself into a high speed ball, easily capable to ripping through stone and even leaving Musharambo on the defensive.
  • Attack Redirection: Possibly Gyasa's deadliest power and possibly an evolved form of his skin shedding, Gyasa is able to absorb damage taken form his enemies and then fire it back at them. Utilizing this ability also allows Gyasa to survive attacks that would otherwise be fatal as the only way around this ability to strike his head.
  • Illusions: As a last resort, Gyasa is able to essentially poison Musharambo's mind by projecting a powerful illusion that nearly ended the warrior had he not managed to break out of it.

Notes[]

  • Gyasa has a passing resemblance to the character Medusa from the Greek Mythology.
  • Gyasa at first calls himself the prince of reptiles. However one episode later he calls himself the king of the reptiles. However this would seem to mean his rank is flexible since later in the series it's revealed that someone else is known as the "lord" of the reptiles.
  • Gyasa strongly believes that humans are dangerous and destructive creatures, while he does not seem to realize that he is just as if not more dangerous than those he calls a threat.
